Trains and Toilets

Introduction

We received a few requests regarding old example applications that utilized R scripting. The first application note uses an X2-2 logger to count freight trains based on the vibration energy detected. The second application is more fun and humorous but still equally educational. We used vibration energy detected by an X2-2 logger to count the number of toilet flushes in a restroom. Both applications show how to collect and analyze data through an R script.
